As global electrification accelerates, Jiangsu tricycle enterprises are accelerating technological breakthroughs. Since 2025, they have obtained more than 120 innovation patents, covering intelligent control, lightweight materials and customized adaptation, driving industry upgrading toward high-end.
Xuzhou Nanpu Electromechanical Technology has built a provincial-level engineering research center, with annual R&D investment exceeding RMB 8 million and 114 valid patents including 31 invention patents. Its self-developed electronic control drive system, after intelligent production line upgrading, boosts production capacity by 4 times, becoming a core supplier to Yadea, Aima and other brands.
Xuzhou Fengyi Electric Vehicle Parts cooperated with Yanshan University to launch an intelligent temperature-sensing seat, realizing automatic temperature adjustment for winter warmth and summer cooling, successfully transforming from a processor to an R&D-oriented enterprise.
Jiangsu Zongshen is promoting sodium-ion battery projects with a planned capacity of 2 million units in 2026. Huaihai Group has developed 44 lithium-powered models, upgrading tricycles from basic transport to green intelligent vehicles, laying a solid technical foundation for global expansion.
