Maintenance methods for garbage trucks
2025,07,10
As the saying goes, 'three repairs and seven repairs', which highlights the importance of maintaining garbage trucks. In this era of rapid economic development, sanitation and garbage trucks have become essential sanitation tools in our daily lives. Therefore, buying a car should not only be cheap, but also useful and unrepaired in the future.
Regularly check the connection of the garbage truck's wiring harness, mainly through visual inspection, to see if there are any cracks, looseness, poor contact, or other issues with the wiring harness. If there is none, it definitely means it is normal. If there is, it is necessary to go to the after-sales service point of the garbage truck for further detailed inspection.
When the garbage truck engine is in a hot state, do not open the radiator cap, otherwise it may be burned by splashing coolant or high-temperature steam. After the engine cools down, check that the coolant level is between full and low. Otherwise, distilled water or purified water (not mineral water) or coolant should be added. The liquid level after adding water should not exceed full. If it is found that the coolant decreases rapidly in a short period of time, the cooling system should be checked for leaks or taken to a repair station for inspection.
If the air filter of a garbage truck is too dirty, it can cause poor engine operation, excessive fuel consumption, engine damage, etc. When checking the air filter, if there is less dust and less blockage, high-pressure air can be used to blow it out from the inside out and continue to use. Dirty air filters should be replaced in a timely manner.
